"If you meet me halfway..."

"..it could be the same for you." - Realize, Colbie Caillat

So I was just reading through all of my old blogs.
I ramble. A LOT. I think I should my blogs more interesting. And more frequent.
By the way, I didn't fail my math exam. I got first honors for the first time :)
But enough about school. School is over until September. Except for summer reading...*sigh*. I finished In Our Defense today. That was the highlight of my day, most definitely.
So I've been really moody all day today. I was talking to my boyfriend and told him that I had to do chores just so I could get off the phone with him. I have an excuse, though: it's that time of the month.
So to make it up to him and for refusing to comply to his request for me to sing "Love Song" by Sara Bareilles, I've decided to make him a video of me doing it.
So I'm about to go do that.
Oh, by the way, my mom wants to move. Far away. Well, not that far away. Far away as in Westminster. She even found her dream house...take a look:

This house is honestly one of the most gorgeous things I've ever seen in my life - both inside and out. It's just so perfectly designed. It's got 25 acres of property and only two houses visible from any point on the property. The owner is even leaving behind his plasma screen TV and pool table for the billiards room. And guess what? It costs...$1.2 million. My little brother said when we left, "I think we should move in tomorrow!"

Haha, yeah right.

Summer

So.

I haven't posted a blog in 3 weeks. I actually forgot that I had a blog until just a few minutes ago.

I'm about to go to swim practice so I can't really make this long, but I just wanna say...

IT'S FINALLY SUMMER :D

I can't believe my first year at NDP is over as of last Wednesday. I'm a sophomore?? Woww. I know being a sophomore isn't much, but freshman year went by so fast I don't even think I remember half of it.

So all my classmates are getting their report cards in the mail, so that means I should have mine by tomorrow...and I'm really scared. I had good grades in every class, but then came...

EXAMS.

I've only failed two tests in my entire life, and I think I failed that math exam. I broke down in the middle of it. Just ask the girl who was sitting next to me! When the teacher said, "One hour has passed; you are now free to go if you have finished. If not, you still have half an hour remaining," I think I started whimpering. When the teacher called 5 minutes, I think I may have started to cry a little bit because I wasn't even close to finishing. I left the last 4 word problems blank. I'm scared. D:

But then after exams, my HoCo friends and I loaded ourselves into Colleen Sheehan's mom's car and went to her house, where we engaged in this:

I Just Discovered...

this really cool band called The Panic Division with a really awesome song called "Big Day" with a good music video to accompany it. Go check it out: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rwELYIBE1Pc

So I finally got a boyfriend :) Today was our week-a-versary. We haven't really gone on a real date yet, but that's okay :) We're planning to see a movie next weekend. He just got grounded, though, so I dunno if that's still gonna happen...it better!!!

"The heart goes on and on and on and on, even after you've been gone."

That's the "Big Day" song :)

Today I had job training for my summer job at my pool's snack bar. I saw a friend there that I haven't seen since December, so that was cool. I had to wake up at 7:30, but that was okay because I got free food and I made $29 just learning about my job, haha. :)

So I know this is gonna sound dumb, but I'm honestly getting really fat. I'm not overweight or anything, but I'm pretty sure my body fat percentage is higher than is healthy. I wore short shorts to the job training today, and I totally regretted it because my thighs were like giant blobs when I sat down. Ugh :(

Haha look at what I just found on this computer!

It's a poster from the eighth grade vs. faculty basketball game when I was in 8th grade. Wow, that was in November 2007... :O Anyway, we had "letter days" at my school, and it went from A-F, and then "Fri" for Friday. The basketball game just happened to be on a "D" Day, so during recess when we made these signs, my friends and I tried to think of as many verbs (and a few nouns) as possible that started with D. I even went home and looked some up in the dictionary! The best one is definitely "Today is D Day for...DIAGRAM....the teachers." Ahahaha. That one was for Mr. Hutch.

Ah, middle school. Hard to believe I'm gonna be a sophomore next September.

GRR

Loaner laptops suck.
This week has sucked.
I'm pretty sure something bad has happened to me every day this week.
Except Monday. But Mondays suck in general, plus it was raining, so that's what sucked about Monday.
The only thing I like about this loaner laptop is that the screen is nice and tight and closes really smoothly, unlike my own laptop.
And I think it's just in my mind, but the keys seem easier to type with.
BUT I DON'T CARE
because this computer doesn't have any of my STUFF on it!!
My plan was to gobble down lunch and then go to the library and study really, really hard for my bio test so that i would get a good grade, but nooo! Instead, Mrs. Sherinsky took my computer and she might even be keeping it over the weekend.
I need a prayer:
Dear God, please let my computer be okay and please let me take it home over the weekend so that I can write my World Cultures and Religion papers. Please.
Amen.

What's on My Mind

1. I have this really annoying sore thing in my mouth. It's funny that it would appear today, because in Health we watched a Lifetime movie called She's Too Young about a 14-year-old girl who gives a guy head and then gets syphilis. One of the symptoms for syphilis is sores in your mouth, but I haven't exactly given a guy head lately....or ever. Not like I'd plan to. I can't imagine that would taste good.

2. Spring Dance. It's this Friday, and I'm taking a guy from my swim team that I'm absolutely sure has a crush on me, but we don't really know each other that well. Hopefully this will be a good chance to get to know him better. Problem is, I have very low skills when it comes to being smooth with guys. Chances are, this whole dance experience will be 100% awkward. Okay, maybe that's overshooting it. 85% awkward. But that's a whole lot of awkward.

3. My WC paper. It's due Friday. I promised myself - I SWORE to myself - that I would do it last weekend. What did I do instead? I sat at my computer for 3 hours with facebook open while I tried to beat level 72 of Bubble Struggle (http://www.rebubbled.com/). I am a fat lard who has turned into a procrastinator now that there is a teenaged amount of school days left.

4. My mom seriously just asked me, "WHAT IF HE TRIES TO TONGUE YOU?" *Sigh*. Mothers.

5. I've never kissed a guy, btw. I've never even had a boyfriend. Is that an embarrassing thing to admit over the internet? I'm not sure... I guess it's not that bad, since I'm only 14.

6. Owl City came out with a new single this month - Hot Air Balloons. You should go to www.owlcitymusic.com and download it for free :)

7. This counts as procrastination.

8. We had quite the interesting (and frustrating) debate in World Cultures today. We discussed whether or not God has actually given us free will or if John Calvin was right in his whole "predestination/fate-is-already-decided-when-you're-born" view. It was too much for our young minds to handle...

9. I saw Nichole at the May Festival. I hadn't talked to her in person since September 1. It wasn't awkward, but I'm beginning to wonder if she's two-faced. I don't know. It doesn't matter to me. Anyway, she didn't believe me that I can't sing anymore. No one does when I tell them...it sounds absurd, especially those that were friends with me in STAR and at my middle school, but I swear it's true. Or maybe I'm just crazy...

10. I edited another photo on Picnik tonight :) It's not artistic, like my other ones. It's just a photo of me riding a go-cart with a really intense look on my face.

Well, adios amigos. Feliz Cinco de Mayo :)

A List and A Photo

10 Things on My Mind

1. I have to pee.
2. I have to pee.
3. I am a fat lard.
4. I had my whole day planned out but, as usual, it didn't go as planned because of my procrastination and lack of will power. Since when did I become a procrastinator? Apparently since the fourth quarter of my first year of high school started...
5. Our electricity went out earlier.
6. I promised myself I would write my World Cultures paper this weekend. I haven't started yet.
7. I can't believe I didn't exercise today when I had half the day.
8. I don't want to go to school tomorrow.
9. I feel bad that I'm taking a guy that I'm only friends with who I think really likes me to Spring Dance. Is that leading him on?
10. I really have to pee.
I'm going to go to the bathroom. BRB!

Okay, I'm back. Now for the photo mentioned in the title. It is 100% taken and edited on http://www.picnik.com/ by me :)

Ya like? I think it's pretty :) I'm jealous of this person's flowers. I'm addicted to Picnik, btw. People say I should become a photographer. I really don't know...

Lists

This is going to be a blog composed entirely of lists, mainly because I like to make lists.

8 Reasons Why This Week Was Amazing:
1. It's been really warm
2. Today was the first day of May!!
3. Colleen and Megan are friends again (?)
4. Ashley's mom didn't throw away the Team Jacob bracelet that she got for me, so Ashley brought it in to school. I FREAKING LOVE IT! I wear it along with the accompanying Twilight bracelet every day. (Which has only been three days, but that's okay)
5. I've had hardly any homework this week, which is a MIRACLE.
6. I had a Blendini from Rita's for the first time. It was possibly the best concoction of ice cream/Italian Ice/Oreos I've ever had in my life. Well, the only concoction of ice cream/Italian Ice/Oreos I've ever had in my life. But it was amazing.
7. I'm a PTC taster :) But PTC tastes disgusting...
8. I TALKED TO DAN HUNTER!!!! Who is that, you may ask? Well, you may know him better by his stage name: PlayRadioPlay! ("!" included) How, you may ask? Well, here's what happened:
So his Twitter said, "Hey, call me! 817-717-5295". I thought, "This is going to be one of those dumb things where you leave a message for a celebrity and they never call you back." Well, it was - kinda. I called it, and I left a message and, disappointed, went back to doing homework. Then I got another text from Twitter saying, "YES, I AM ANSWERING CALLS." So I grabbed my cell phone and hit redial 15 times. On the 15th time of calling, I said to myself, "If he doesn't answer, I'm going back to studying for World Cultures." Then, as if God didn't want me to get a good grade on my WC test (just kidding), a recorded voice said, "Congratulations! Today is your lucky day! Please wait while we ring this celeb's phone."
I FLIPPED OUT. I squealed a little and started to fix my hair a little bit in the mirror, even though he wouldn't be able to see me. Then... "Hello?" "Hi..." I murmured. I held the phone away from my head to regain my composure while he said, "Hello? Are you there??"
Then we had a nice, 5-minute-long conversation. He recommended like 10 bands to me, haha. And I discovered that it has snowed in Texas before.

So since this blog has been too long after pouring that out, there won't be any more lists. Sorry :(
I have to take my dog for a walk before it gets darks, anyway.
Byebye!!
